Summary
This release focuses on two major additions: an Alerts system (Alerts tool) that automatically flags when your assumptions or indicators cross defined thresholds — highlighted on maps, charts, and tables — and a Report Builder (Reports tool) for generating polished, shareable reports including scenario comparisons and analysis summaries. This release also adds the ability to replace dynamic layer data without breaking your analysis, a Clone tool for quickly stamping out repeated features, and several bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements around licensing and update notifications.
New Migrated Tools & Feature
Alerts Tool
A brand-new Alerts feature lets you set up automated watchpoints on your assumptions and indicators. Here’s what you can do:

Create custom alerts — Define conditions like “if population density exceeds 50 units/acre” on any assumption or indicator. Give alerts custom names, descriptions, messages, and color-coded visual cues.

See alerts at a glance — When an alert triggers, you’ll see it highlighted right where it matters: on the map (bold colored outlines on affected features), in charts (color changes and warning symbols), and in assumption/indicator tables (alert icons and colored values).

Run All Alerts on demand — Manually evaluate every alert at once to validate your scenario at a specific point in time.

Clear All Alerts — Temporarily hide all alert visuals to reset your workspace before a presentation or review, without deleting any alert definitions.

Suspend & Resume — Pause automatic alert checking during bulk edits to avoid noisy recalculations, then resume when you’re ready.

Alerts Workspace — Access all your alerts from a dedicated panel via the ribbon. The panel remembers its dock position and size between sessions.
Reports Tool
A new Reports workspace makes it easy to generate, manage, and share professional reports about your analysis — no CViz Pro license needed to view them. Key capabilities include:

Three report types — Analysis Summary (overview of your scenarios, assumptions, indicators, and alerts), Scenario Comparison (side-by-side detailed comparison of two scenarios with maps, 3D images, charts, and photos), and File Dependency List (all files needed to run your analysis, great for sharing projects).

Step-by-step builder — A guided wizard walks you through choosing what to include. Filter content by tags or related components, add custom branding, and preview before finalizing.

Interactive output — Reports are generated in formats anyone can open (HTML, PDF). They include a table of contents, collapsible sections, and a glossary for easy navigation.

Report Manager — View and reopen previously created reports from a central list.
Other Features
Replace Dynamic Layer Data – You can now swap out the features in a dynamic data layer without breaking your analysis. This is ideal for updating your parcel data to a newer vintage, switching from a grid to parcels, or expanding your study area — all while keeping your formulas, scenarios, and dynamic attributes intact. The tool walks you through mapping your new data’s fields to the existing layer schema so everything stays connected.
Feature Clone with Styles – A new Clone tool in the Style Manager lets you select an existing map feature, save its shape and attribute values as a reusable style, and then stamp out copies quickly. This is perfect for rapidly placing repeated features like building footprints or transit-oriented development nodes with pre-populated values.
Enhancements
Update Notification via Esri Toast – CommunityViz Pro update announcements now appear in the standard Esri notification area (toast), so you’ll know when a new version is available without having to check manually.
License Management Improvements – The LicenseSpring licensing interface has been polished for a smoother experience. You can now refresh your license to see updated seat information, and expired trial license details are handled more cleanly so you’re not blocked from requesting a new trial.
Bug Fixes
Chart Window Display Fix – When resizing the Chart Setup window, the “Items in Chart” section at the top could disappear entirely, making it impossible to manage charted items. Now, the section header always remains visible no matter how small you make the window, so you’ll always know it’s there and can interact with it.
Missing Ribbon Customization Icons – Several icons were missing from the “Customize the Ribbon” interface — specifically under Analysis Components (Tags), Analysis Utilities (Update Analysis), and Guided Analysis Modeling (Suitability, Allocator). These icons have been restored, making it easier to identify and organize your ribbon tools.
Data Replacement Z-Value Error – When replacing features in a dynamic data layer, an error could occur if the incoming data contained Z (elevation) values that didn’t match the target layer. This has been fixed so that data replacements handle geometry differences gracefully without throwing an error.
