System Requirements

CViz Pro 2.x requires:

• ArcGIS Pro installed and licensed.
• A valid CViz Pro license.
• Microsoft .NET components installed automatically with ArcGIS Pro.
• Windows user account with permission to install ArcGIS Pro add-ins.

Recommended Hardware for Large Analyses

For Build-Out, Allocator, Suitability, and other computationally intensive analyses:

• Intel Core i9 or AMD Ryzen 9
• 32–64 GB RAM
• NVIDIA RTX-class GPU
• NVMe SSD
• Dual monitors (recommended)

These specifications significantly improve performance when working with:

• Large geodatabases
• Complex Build-Out analyses
• 3D visualization
• Large indicator sets
• Multiple scenarios
• High-resolution aerial imagery

Supported ArcGIS Pro Versions

CViz Pro 2.0 is designed for the ArcGIS Pro platform rather than ArcMap. Current CommunityViz downloads are provided specifically for ArcGIS Pro, while the legacy CommunityViz 5.2 product remains available for ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap).

Notes

• MacOS is not supported natively. CViz Pro requires Windows because ArcGIS Pro is a Windows application. Running it on macOS requires a supported Windows virtual machine or compatible virtualization solution.
• An SSD is strongly recommended for better performance, especially when processing large GIS datasets. Esri also recommends 32 GB of RAM and a dedicated GPU for demanding 3D and analytical workflows.

System Requirements- CommunityViz^® for ArcGIS Pro, CViz^® Pro.

CViz Pro 2.0 is an extension for Esri ArcGIS Pro, so its system requirements are primarily based on the version of ArcGIS Pro it supports. Based on the current CommunityViz and Esri documentation, the recommended requirements are:
