Use the table below to choose the correct CommunityViz Pro path for your ArcGIS Pro version. Linked versions are base installers you can download directly. Install the compatible base installer first, then run Check for Updates.

Download this base installer link to run CommunityViz Pro v2.7.1 or run the “Check For Updates” application if you are using CViz Pro v2.1-2.6.1.

2.9 or older

Not Supported

Update to ArcGIS Pro 3.0 or above.

Which CViz version should I use?

Option A: If you are using ArcGIS Pro 3.0-3.7, download and install the CViz Pro v2.7.1 base installer for ArcGIS Pro 3.0-3.7, to get the latest CViz Pro v2.7.1 release.

Option B: If you are using ArcGIS Pro 2.9 or older, CViz Pro is not supported, and you will have to update to ArcGIS Pro 3.0 or abaove.

IT Admin Deployment Guidance

Purpose: Use this section when installing CommunityViz Pro in a managed IT environment or deploying it to multiple workstations.

Prerequisites:

  • Install the supported ArcGIS Pro version before installing CommunityViz Pro.

  • ArcGIS Pro should be installed for “All Users” on the local machine.

  • Use the compatibility table above to choose the correct CommunityViz Pro installer or update path.

  • Run the installer using a Windows account with permission to install desktop software.

  • Confirm that users have access to the required CommunityViz Pro license or activation information before rollout.

Install and update path

  • For ArcGIS Pro 3.0–3.7, install the CViz Pro v2.7.1 base installer or run Check for Updates to reach the latest compatible CViz Pro release.

  • For ArcGIS Pro 2.9 or older, CommunityViz for ArcGIS Pro is not supported or compatible.

  • The latest CViz Pro v2.7.1 base installer now allows existing CViz user using ArcGIS Pro versions 3.0-3.7 the ability to update to our latest release without having to update your ArcGIS Pro version.

Managed deployment considerations

  • Test the installer on a pilot workstation that matches the target ArcGIS Pro version before broad deployment.

  • If deploying through software management tools, package the same installer shown in the compatibility table for the target ArcGIS Pro version.

  • ArcGIS Pro should be installed for “All Users” on the local machine.

  • For locked-down networks, allow users or the installer to access the CommunityViz download and update resources used by the installer and Check for Updates.

  • After installation, launch ArcGIS Pro and confirm that CommunityViz Pro loads and activates successfully.

Upgrade and uninstall notes

  • When upgrading ArcGIS Pro, re-check the compatibility table before updating CommunityViz Pro.

  • If moving from an older ArcGIS Pro track to ArcGIS Pro 3.0-3.7, use the CViz Pro v2.7.1 base installer path.

  • If an install or upgrade fails, uninstall CommunityViz Pro, restart the workstation, and reinstall the supported version for the installed ArcGIS Pro version.

Backwards Compatibility

For users using ArcGIS Pro 3.0-3.7, you can now install and activate the latest v2.7.1 release of CViz Pro, using the check for updates or run the CViz Pro v2.7.1 base installer for ArcGIS Pro 3.0-3.7.
